Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with SHOPYFRONT, a brand operated by SLATEFRONT PRIVATE LIMITED. Please read this policy carefully, as it governs all returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns only for replacement and only in the following cases:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or incorrect product.

  • You notify us within 7 days of delivery.

  • The product is unused, unwashed, unopened, and in its original packaging, with all tags, accessories, and invoice intact.

We do NOT accept returns for:

  • Damage caused after delivery or due to customer mishandling

  • Used or altered products

  • Items returned without original packaging

  • Size, color, or preference-related issues (unless the wrong item was delivered)

  • Products marked as non-returnable, final sale, or free gifts

SHOPYFRONT (operated by SLATEFRONT PRIVATE LIMITED) reserves the right to determine return eligibility.


2. Return Request Procedure

To initiate a return, email us at shopyfront@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.

Your email must include:

  • Order ID

  • Description of issue

  • Clear photos showing the defect/damage

  • Unboxing video (if available; required in cases of damage claims)

Our team will review the request. Approval is not guaranteed and is subject to verification.

If approved:

  • We will arrange reverse pickup (subject to availability at your PIN code), OR

  • You may be required to ship the product back.

    • If the issue is from our side (wrong/damaged/defective), courier charges will be reimbursed up to a reasonable limit with proof of payment.

Items must be shipped back within 3 days of approval. Delayed shipments may be rejected.


3. Replacement & Refunds

We primarily offer replacement, not returns for convenience.

Replacement

If the returned product passes inspection, we will send a replacement of the same item.
If the item is out of stock, we will issue a full refund.

Refunds (if issued)

  • Prepaid Orders: Refund is sent to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.

  • COD Orders: Refund is processed via UPI, PayTM, or bank transfer (details must be provided).

  • Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.

Refund/Replacement Will Be Rejected If:

  • Returned product is found used, damaged, tampered, or not the same item sent

  • Original packaging, tags, or accessories are missing

  • Pickup partner fails due to customer unavailability or refusal

  • Product fails inspection or claim is found invalid/fraudulent

SHOPYFRONT (operated by SLATEFRONT PRIVATE LIMITED), retains final authority on approval, rejection, or refund amount.


4. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch by emailing shopyfront@gmail.com.

  • Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.

  • After shipping, customers must follow the return process as per this policy.


5. Exchange Policy

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you received a wrong or defective product, we will process a replacement or refund as applicable.


6. Non-Liability Clause (Important)

SHOPYFRONT, operated by SLATEFRONT PRIVATE LIMITED, is not responsible or liable for:

  • Delays caused by courier/logistics partners

  • Incorrect address, PIN code, or contact information provided by the customer

  • Minor color or texture variations due to screen/display differences

  • Damage occurring after delivery

  • Loss of return shipment sent by customer without proper tracking or protective packaging

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use

Our maximum liability is limited strictly to the order value of the product purchased.


7. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India.
All disputes are subject to Kota, Rajasthan jurisdiction only.
